I would take your team and line up on any given Sunday but 5 Steelers on defense?
LWC Wrote:I would take your team and line up on any given Sunday but 5 Steelers on defense?
The reason why I picked 5 steelers on defense because each one of them guys in most peoples eyes are top 5 at their position all-time. I don't think there has never been a good defensive tackle as Joe Greene, I believe other than LT, Jack Lambert and Jack Ham are #2 and #3 at LB to ever play, and Rod Woodson is one of the great not only corners but defenders to ever play football.

My main argument was with Ham. Really 3rd best LB of all-time?

I see no problem at all with this.

Everyone seems pretty high on Chris Carter.
I don't know if I would put him on my team or not lol
Peyton Manning would do all of our commercials but he wouldn't step on the field.

1,101 rec, 13,899 yards, and 130 TD's..... That's why

I was a big Vikings fan back when he was in Minnesota.
I know all about his stats lol

I would rather have T.O. or Randy on my team.
Chris Carter and Tim Brown might have had some of the best hands ever.

Wouldn't want them on my team EVER.... Get too many problems with those two...

I like most of this, but my Tight End would be Kellen Winslow not just his offense, but the best blocking TE of all time. Largent put up great numbers, but that would be like say Wes Welker is in the top 3 WR's of all time. Lergent was well deserved of his HOF status, but not greatest possession receiver (which is what he would be in this line-up).

Love him.... I want Lergent working the middle of the field If I'm running a 3 WR set... Tim Brown is my 3 best WR of all-time but that's not his position...

Good list except I would have Joe Montana at QB and Jim Brown at RB.
ekff Wrote:Wouldn't want them on my team EVER.... Get too many problems with those two...

Understood.
We can all agree that Jerry Rice is going to be the first WR on anyone's team.
I would go with TO or Randy simply because of their talent level.
It's crazy to think that there stats are so high after Randy pretty much took a few years off in Oakland, TO got benched for a year in his prime, and they both have pretty much been going through the motions in the last few years(with the exception of Randy under Coach Belichick).

I would probably side with Randy between the two of em.
It's pretty funny that Jerry Rice and T.O. were on the same team at one time and you can legitimately put them as the best WR tandem out of every WR in history lol
Here is my offense....
I'll have to think on the defense a little while longer lol
