May the best team win, Lol. Geez, what a district competition this is going to be for the next few years. If you love mountain football this is where you need to be.

I agree with 1 Belfry & 5 East Ridge. 2-4 could be anyone.

Obviously Belfry is the favorite; the favorite spot is theirs to lose since they were last year's runners up in the 3A state play-off.
I read and hear that they are loaded this year. Nonetheless, this is one tough district, and any thing can happen. Just my opinion, but on any given Friday night Pike Central, Lawrence County, or Sheldon Clark could upset them. I don't think, however, East Ridge is at that point but they just might surprise a few people this season.
As has been stated on this forum many times, Belfry has the tradition, excellent coaching, and good athletes year in and year out. Thus, they are always tough to beat.
