Who are the best and worst draft picks for your favorite team in the past two decades? 1991-2011.
Magic - Shaquille O'neal 1992
Magic - Dwight Howard 2004
The biggest fail trading/draft: Kobe Bryant was a first round draft choice of the Charlotte Hornets in 1996. Shortly after the draft the Lakers traded their starting center, Vlade Divac, to the Hornets for Bryant.

What a bunch of idiots! LOL
Sacramento Kings:

Best:
In no particular order
Predrag (Pay-jah) Stojakovic (Multiple All-Star and All-NBA player)
Kevin Martin (Absolute steal at #26)
Tyreke Evans- Should already be an all star, but will be. Career 20-5-5 players

Worst
No doubt on the absolute worst, not necessarily for career stats (even though they are pathetic) but because of the hype and collegiate success:
Bobby Hurley
Tariq Abdul-Wahad
AND the 2005, 2006 and 2007 picks killed the franchise. A COMBINED 21.6 PPG, 9.6 RPG, and 3.8 APG. (Quincy Douby, Spencer Hawes and Francisco Garcia)

Did I forget to mention that Quincy Douby was listed as a Guard, two picks later Rajon Rondo was drafted at 21, Shannon Brown another Guard at 25, Jordan Farmar at 26. Those are just the GUARDS drafted after. That one hurt a lot!

For the Magic:

Worst
Fran Vázquez- Drafted 11th overall, NEVER chose to play in the NBA
Reece Gaines drafted before Josh Howard, Mo Williams and David West

My favorite for the Magic, they drafted CHRIS WEBBER and traded him!
Spurs

Tim Duncan - 1st overall
Manu Ginobili - 57th overall
Tony Parker - 28th overall
Sean Elliot - 3rd overall
George Hill - 27th overall

With the Spurs, did they have any bad draft picks? lol.

Hurley was in a horrible car accident that almost killed in his first or second season and never fully recovered. We truly don't know what kind of career he would have had. IMO, I think he would have been a solid point guard in the NBA if it was not for that accident.
Brian Scalabrine, selected 34th overall by the Nets. STEAL!!!!
Hopefully he's a Laker someday...

In all honesty, if he came and played pick up ball with us, he'd probably dunk on everyone.

He averaged something like 7 points and 6 assists before the wreck. Either way it puts him in the same category as Jay Williams and Sam Bowie.

No. LOL they never get a high pick.... So no bust... If a 40th pick don't work out who really cares...
