You clearly don't know Bob Knight then. It is always a dumb or "idiotic rule" when it is a team Knight likes or has coached before. But when it is a team he doesn't care for he is all for it.
And as for the rule I am all for it. I understand it's meaning. It does make sense but even if it didn't the players
knew they were braking the rules and done it anyways.
