I believe that most of the SC fans are looking forward to playing Rockcastle, even though it seems the general consesus has SC as the overwhelming underdog.

SC, so many say, is going to have a down year in 2011, so we will see how that works out as the season progresses.

I am probably in the minority, but I beleive that Sheldon Clark just might sursprise a few fans in the 2011 season.

Hope to see you at the game on August 20.
Looking forward to it fellas Wink
i agree contrarian but i know the expectations of both teams are always high at rock and SC either way it will be exciting and i know for a fact there is much respect to SC there is no way rock is over looking them in any way we will be hearing SC every day until the game but wish the best of luck to SC this year

Thanks, RockHard20! Wish both teams the best and hope SC brings their A game. Last year they played great one game, and then very poor the next. They beat Belfry, who was the runner-up last year in 3A, but suffered a terribly played loss to Prestonsburg. These games displayed two completely different teams.

Well, that was last year, and 2011 is upon us, so we will have to wait and see what occurs.

Suffice it to say, SC most definitely respects Rockcastle. Best of luck to Rockcastle for the 2011 season. I plan to be there to root for the Cards, as I'm sure you will be there rooting for the "Rock."

I think everyone is welcome to an opinion; however, this one might be a stretch. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if SC doesn't beat one of the front runners during the 2011 season.

Meh, I feel SC this season, but of course you know those top 3 spots could easily change, and that's what matters.
As I have mentioned before, anything can happen on a given Friday night. But is fun to forecast and then see what occurs. I'm sure we'll see some upsets as the 2011 season progresses.

thats a good one,if Belfry finshes 3rd,then Bell,Central better watch out because Belfry is loaded..and that means SC or LC would be in the finals, because i belive someone from this district will win the east, but i believe its the Pirates, but if not i will cheer for you...

Based upon what I read and hear, Belfry most definitely is the front runner in District 8; I, however, am in agreement with cuppett777, if Belfry doesn't win it, whoever represents District 8 will be my favorite.

Since I have close ties with Sheldon Clark, I would like to see them be successful this season, 2011. But, as I mentioned above, I will root for for the east representative.
