Danville was a very young team last year. They made a deep run into the playoffs and feel short. In my opinion they are the preseason favorites for 2A. They got Patrick Brand back and he is going to be one of the top backs in the state before it's over with.

Danville should be one of the favorites in 2A this year but 2A is filled with tough teams this year and Danville's district is stacked this year with LCA, Somerset, and Middlesboro. The team that makes through this district should be well prepared for a strong playoff run that could end with a state title.
