Looks like the sleeping dog finally woke up. Steve Layne goes yard in the deep part of the park today for a 3 run HR. Everybody and I mean everybody on the team has pounded the ball after the upset by Prestonsburg.
If they had to lose to refocus on the future then it was surely a loss worth taking. I have not seen this particular group of players ever this focused except at the State Tourney last year. They have sorely missed Patrick Keene and Scott McDonald's leadership this year, however looks like they are definitely adjusting right now.
