Final from Davis Park in Pikeville in the Hillbilly Days Classic. Hopefully this was a team that realize it needed to get its act together. Absolutely tattooed the baseball tonight. Burton threw an excellent game as well. When he is on, he is very tough. Curveball was nasty tonight. Gavin Miller hit an absolute bomb to deep LefT Center. Multiple Extra base hits by a lot of guys. Taylor Ratliff killed the ball tonight. Steven Layne was hitting good line drives. Clark Keene showed off some power. Layne Cecil hit a shot. It was a team effort in a win over a very good East Carter team. Hopefully Pikeville can keep this up to a reasonable extent. The Panthers are now 10-1 on the year. Pikeville will play Matewan and Sheldon Clark tomorrow.

Tonight, I went and watched the Pikeville Panthers.

I told Coach Hall after the SC game was over, I feel for the next team that plays Pikeville and glad it isnt us
