Christian County head basketball coach Kerry Stovall resigned after winning the state championship this year. His reason for resigning is to spend more time with his family. The coaches and players knew he would stop coaching before the season started. Everything else can be read on the link below.

Wow what a way to go out on top, winning the State Championship and on a game winning shot never the less. Also heard a lot of great things about Stovall, really one of the class acts and knowledgeable coaches in Kentucky High School basketball, sure is going to be missed.
Knowing that he was going to retire before the season started REALLY gives credence to "win one for the Gipper"
