Tough loss for the Blackcats... Congrats Pirates!

This week is brutal on an already thin Blackcat pitching rotation. Coach Simpkins is trying to develop some pitching.
Hitting is more of a problem right now. I think Prestonburg had 1 hit last night. The Blackcats are stuggling offensively, but that will come in time.
A few defensive miscues happened last night, but all in all, kids are doing things the right way, backing each other up, and playing with some enthusiasm.
Give em' time...

how is prestonsburg this year? i know they have powell tomorrow but thats all i know. powell has been playing great baseball for this early compared to last year and has some kids who are hitting the ball very well. so how do you think theyll match up tomorrow against the young/experienced powell team?
