IMO, the people who come up with this are idiots. Perry and Buckhorn are easily 1 and 2, IMO. With Clay at third. This is mine:

Very hard to come up a basketball poll. The season is so long it involves tons of ups and downs for every team.

It's hard to see how Betsy Layne jumps to the top spot after losing to Pike Central at home and Perry drops to the 5 spot after losing to Bell on the road.
I just can't find the reasoning in that.
Last year Perry was #2 in the last week and beat Shelby Valley at #1 but WYMT still put Perry at #2 in the polls.

Betsy Layne deserves the top spot all A State Champs.
