I'm not sure what game you watches but southwestern played a great game. They was red hot from the field and attacked the basketball
like crazy. We just hit some really big shits at the end of the game.

The Collins-Hopkinsville is a sweet 16 game. Winner goes into elite 8 according to the bracket.

Sounded like it was a great game.
The mountain teams represented themselves well at the KBA this weekend. Good luck to Virgie and Johnson County who are both in the final 8. The Virgie/Knox game has to be one of the best games of the entire tournament. Both teams played well at times. Andrew Newsome was the difference for Virgie as he had 28 points and 14 rebounds. Dalton Richardson hit 2 big free throws late in the game to give Virgie a 3 point lead. Virgie was down 10 with 4 seconds left in the 3rd and Chandler Rowe hit a 30+ foot shot at the buzzer to give the Eagles momentum going into the 4th. Virgie played poorly against St. Joseph, but still won rather easily. In their last game of the night, Virgie defeated a good Farnsley team to advance. Andrew Newsome had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Dalton Richardson played very well also, missing very few shots.
Good luck to both sets of Eagles (Virgie and Johnson County) tomorrow.
