Was their scouting for next week, Knott played well, had a wide open 3 footer at the buzzer and came up short. Game goes to overtime, Buckhorn hits a fade away shot with 4 seconds to go in OT to go up 2, Knott gets ball to Potter for a sprint down the floor and a struggle to get a shot off, no good.
Slone does not get the ball enough on this team, Potter is very selfish and will not shoot a wide open 3 but will force silly shots when others are wide open. If they would get control of him and make him give up the ball to others that can score Knott would be a lot better off. Great game, tournament atmosphere, officials let them play, sometimes a little to much, but better than calling it too tight. Both teams had chances to win, looks like it's going to be a great week of Districts and then Region.

Buckhorn travels to Knott County Central to win 19th game and the fifth in a row. This team has had a very good year but face a tough Perry Central in districts..

Buckhorn found a way to get the win in this one. They are not a team to blow teams out but they do find ways to win. Slone was huge for Knott. Very impressed with him in this one. Knott done a good job against Day but others stepped up and when needed Matt stepped up! Congrats on getting a win before district and good luck next week against PCC.

No surprise here.
