I applaud the Nets owner for this. To many times these kind of situations are played out in the media and it's refreshing to see someone step up and end it. Melo didn't want to play for the Nets. He's been focused on gettin to the Knicks for some time now.
I'm guessing he's a New York Knick now if he leaves Denver.
He wouldn't sign a contract extension with them even if they got a deal in place. We all knew he's NY bound anyway.
