Is anyone planning to host or interested in hosting a round robin or tournament for 6th grade on Jan. 22?

I know a lot of 6th grade teams are going to KBA next weekend, but we're not and would like to play. We would be willing to travel within reason to play at least two games.

Where are you located at? We may try to host a 6th grade tournament Saturday if we don't go to the KBA? We are 3rd on the waiting list.

Pretty far--Dorton (in Pike County). We're about 2 hours from London.

Just out of curiosity, do you work closely with local area high school coaches when building a 6th grade program? I had a conversation with a coach a few days ago who told me, 6th grade programs really don't need to work with the local school programs. I disagree, you?

I think its good to teach the kids the style of play that they will play in high school.

The kids need, to play the same style as high school.
