Perry Central Gets a BIG Transfer?
He's not eligible yet guys. Waiting for the the Head Honcho at the KHSAA to release him. Judge said yes.
Will not be eligible until 2nd semester anyways. No hurry on the Khsaa to rush their decision. They have 15 days to now make the decision to go with the judge or against him right? Should be interesting to see how this turns out, there are a lot pushing against the kid from the 14th region, so I guess it all depends on who has the deeper pockets.
I'm just going to go out on a limb and say the full 15 day window will be exhausted in this one. This is getting ridiculous.
Just for the record, a "judge" did not preside over this appeal, a "judge" will be the next step, when he is rightfully ruled ineligible. That will be in Franklin Circuit Court, may be the reason for the choice of the atty., that represented a player from a "rival" school, but " The rules are the rules!!!!" The rules must be applied equally to ALL players, that, being said, KSHAA must tread very carefully in this matter, truth is, the kid was academically ineligible in his home state, doesn't matter about the move, or any other "improper" issues surrounding his transfer. He may gain academic eligibility after the first semester, but we shall see.....

Thanks for your input.
I'll make sure to quote this one when he is rightfully ruled eligible.

^Stuttering problem?
Don't read anything into the multiple posts, my computer kept prompting me to post reply, Sorry for any offense.
^L o L
I don't get offended
I just jump at the opportunity to bust balls
Post was merely my own opinion and observation from several years of watching KSHAA and the "inner" workings.
I know what you mean man.
Bottom line....
KHSAA gets it right sometimes...
they get it wrong sometimes....
we won't know until they announce it.
Glad to hear, hope KHSAA goes with the judge. Like I have been saying forever, he makes PCC a contender at RUPP.

If you have been watching the khsaa for the last few yrs you would know that he did go in front of a RETIRED judge. He was not ineligible in the state of NY because the rules there are much different than here, so until you know the rules of highschool bball in NY you shouldnt speak things that arent true. I agree with you on one thing, all the kids must be treated fair!! If that happens in this case the kid will be released to play by the khsaa very quickly.
I was referring to a "judge". as in a "court of law", unfortunately for you KSHAA is not recognized as such,... not that you would understand that. This case will ultimately end up in Franklin Circuit Court... and yes, fy info, academic ineligibity does have an BIG impact!!!

Lol
We shall see who "lol" in the end. Best of luck to the kid, he should be the focus, but, he should be aware he is a "pawn"!!

To me a retired judge that is ruling on a hearing is still active and a judge in my book. Either way, I would agree that academic ineligibility does has a big impact, but that issue has been resolved from what i understand. I think everyone knows that this has to do with all the complaints the khsaa has gotten from all the other coaches, AD's and im sure even a board member or two from the khsaa. All i would ask is to look at the facts of the case and give this barely 17yr old kid a fair shot. I dont think thats to much to ask. If they have reason to rulle him ineligible(which they dont have, just all speculation and hearsay) then dont let him play. Any other team in the state would have already had him on the floor by now. Perry and coach hatcher has done exactly what every other school in the state would have done if this kid showed up at their school.
What was the issue academically for this kid anyways? Was he failing when he left ny?

With a SMARTA$$ remark like that you seem to want the best for this kid!!!! Ppl like you is exactly whats wrong with eky. To laugh about a situation like this concerning a kid because you may have the power to help him/her and you would rather see him fail. No reason to say best of luck because everyone can see through that. I would put you on my list with Jerry Sandusky. Yall just bad for the kids............
Hey listen..To my knowledge, We Bleed Blue, has never been caught with a porn site on their computer. Too bad we can't say this about the Perry County system. Talk about Sandusky, he's got nothing on that bunch at PCC.
LoL

Your comment was disgusting and uncalled for. To equate another member with an accused pedophile and child molester, just because they have a different opinion than you, is childish and wrong.

Grow up.

For a grown man/woman to make lite of a situation concerning a 17yr old kid not getting eligible just sickens me as well. I have no problems with difference of opinions, but I think if you read the comment i replied to you would see that his remark was uncalled for as well. Words can hurt children just as bad as actions. I apologize for connecting the two, I went a little over board. Unlike the other haters in this world, I enjoy seeing KIDS succeed, no matter which school they are from.
Thanks moderator, I appreciate your comment. Ballstar, whoever you are, the only point I was attempting to make was that this was not a matter before a "CURRENT" judge in our legal system. I did not want folks to be confused when this actually ends up in Franklin Circuit COurt. That being said, I do, indeed, enjoy seeing kids succeed, no matter the school. It seems that it is you that's the "hater". Have a great day!!
ah boys...
Soo why can't we all just agree that we will wait and see the outcome of all this. I hope at the end of this he gets to play, I'm very excited to see his game and every high school senior should play their final season!!! :Cheerlead:Cheerlead
Rules are rules and if they are enforced for one person, then they should be enforced for all...It doesn't matter if he's a freshman or a senior, the same rule applies...
ballstar Wrote:I apologize for connecting the two, I went a little over board.

A "little over board" is quite the under statement.
