Letcher Central Job Open
#1
Coach Wright has stepped away from his head coach position.
#2
So long
#3
Who will get the job?
#4
Several people have been mentioned and inquired. May be a familiar face to the 14th Region.
#5
Heard they offered Bobby Ratliff a very nice package. He would for sure be a great hire.
#6
Would Ratliff leave Perry to coach Boys?
#7
Don’t see why not. Money talks.
#8
Letcher hasn’t ever been known for throwing out big money for sports teams in the recent past. Mainly hired from within. Not saying it’s not a good move just be shocked to see Letcher do that much to show an interest.
#9
Who did LCC hire for the Head Baseball Job? Heard they had a bunch of interest.
#10
Applications end today. Heard a lot of interest in job.
#11
Whose all interested?

No way. He has one of the top softball teams in the mountains and will be that way for the next several years. He has one of the best 9th grade groups in the state. He also has a daughter of his own that will be joining the team soon.
#13
Ratliff was not an applicant

Dump is coming. Be the next coach at LCC.

Is "Dump" Chris Slone by any chance? I seem to remember Alice Lloyd softballs team had a coach by that name years ago.
#16
Hearing it could be Dean.
#17
Dean was offered the job yesterday.
#18
LCC baseball will instantly become better. Meehan will have a little more competition now. Probably not enough to beat him but at least will make it interesting.
#19
Same Dean that coached there a few years back?
#20
Yes, LCC has added Huff to the roster. The gap with Hazard will close with both additions.
#21
Huff is a solid offensive player and will help Letcher in that aspect but to compete with Hazard, teams need pitchers and Huff didn’t pitch at all this past season. He will still be a great asset to their team.
#22
Fields, Little, and Williams will improve upon their performance last year. LCC needed another batter in the lineup.
