Who gets that job

Wow. 5A program with athletes. I know they've struggled in the past but this job has potential. Coach Irwin is a great leader and I'm sure will make a great choice as they look for the next Coach.

Bring on Mike Garland

Pick a name out of a hat, it doesn’t really matter.

Hearing the same thing too. Coach Allen Mitchell is already on staff so it makes sense.

It won’t be a coach that is presently on the staff.

Some be South parents have said that the new coach is going to be Neil Warren, not sure if he is an assistant at the HS or MS.

Most of Whitley’s too, we’re needing a running back, give me that number so I can get to work  Smile

Just my two cents for what it’s worth, Irwin is a very good coach and maybe over time could have brought some respectability around….A rookie HC is not at all what SL needs right now….

Is the job posted or will this be an inside hire?

He was Tom Larkey's DC at Harlan County and Perry Central...then around 2018 he became HC at Perry Central for a season or two. Not sure where he's been most recently.
