Got to say I am suprised at this hire. Not that Chad is not deserving, or that there were more qualified applicants, im just suprised that Love is officially hanging up the whistle. I thought for sure it was going to be the case of a stipulation of his retirement from teaching and he would be back. Ashland always has alot of tallent, but Love was an extention of Coach Hart. So it will be interesting to see how the system and program changes moving forward.

From what I heard I figured it was Chads to lose. He should keep the systems close to what they been running with maybe a few of his own twists. Ashland has a lot of talent coming the next few years. Congrats to Chad on the hire and he has big shoes to fill.

I also assumed that Love would be back after the waiting period. Love left his mark on Ashland. Good luck to the new coach.
