Great physical game by both teams. Martin County jumped up on them early. GRC came back with 28 unanswered points. Martin County stopped them on their first series in the second half and proceeded to drive the ball about 80 yards to score the only touchdown of the second half. Turnovers killed Martin County tonight. Hats off to Martin County for playing a 6A program. Also very classy of GRC to meet at midfield for a pregame prayer for Coach Matney. Two class act coaches and programs played a great game tonight.

Yeah, I agree.  Way to step up and take on a 6A school. Martin Co hung tough.  I like what Chiricho and his staff are doing at Clark Co.  As they are saying, "Trust the process."

It’s going to take Chirico a while to turn GRC around but they are starting to turn in the right direction.
