I saw John Waite at a show in downtown Corbin  a few years ago. What an incredible singer !  He did quite a bit of his stuff  from his time with the Baby's .

Another damned good rock song from John Waite and the Babys:

Here's a recent version of the Babys classic "Isn't it Time."   There's no John Waite on this one but it's still a killer, kick-ass renditon.  Backup singers are incredible in every way.

The Babys still sound great.

Babys suck but John Waite is great. Change is classic song and video.

The Pretenders never made a bad song, I think they were the best concert I ever saw and that was only a few years ago.

Beautiful song, lyrics and video in one....Chrissie Hynde wrote it for her newborn baby

Show me the meaning of the word
Show me the meaning of the word
'Cause I've heard so much about it
They say, "Hey, you can't live without it"
Welcome to the human race
With its wars, disease and brutality
You with your innocence and grace
Restore some pride and dignity
To a world in decline
Welcome to a special place
In a heart of stone that's cold and gray
You with your angel face
Keep the despair at bay
Send it away, and
Show me the meaning of the word
Show me the meaning of the word
'Cause I've heard so much about it
I don't want to live without it
I don't want to live without it
Oh, I want love
I want love
I want love
Welcome here from outer space
The Milky Way is still in your eyes
You found yourself a hopeless case
One that's seeking perfection on earth
That's some kind of rebirth, so
Show me the meaning of the word
Show me the meaning of the word
'Cause I've heard so much about it
Don't make me live without it
Oh, love
I want love
I want
Love
I want love

Here’s a fairly recent one I loved. Don’t like all of Kid Rock’s material, but when he does Bob Seger-like rock and roll, he’s pretty damn good, got a great voice.
