What are some of your all-time favorite color songs?  That is,  a song with the name of a color or color shade in the title?   Can you think of a dozen favorites?  If not , how about a half dozen bouquet?

Green, Green Grass of Home (Tom Jones)

Crimson & Clover (Tommy James & the Shondells)

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John)

Blues for My Baby and Me(Elton John)

I Guess That's Why They Call  It the Blues (Elton John)

Blue Eyes  Crying in the Rain (Willie Nelson)

Baby Blue (Badfinger)

Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree (Tony Orlando & Dawn)

Little Red Corvette(Prince)

Brown  Eyes (Fleetwood Mac)

Blue Letter (Fleetwood Mac)

Gold Dust Woman(Fleetwood Mac)

Hoot,   I made my list the other day and wrote down my choices but i couldn't find it when I posted earlier. So when I posted my favorites today, I kept thinking I was omitting one of my songs. I did.  It was Freda Payne's "Band of Gold." Good song( from around 1974, I think).

Thanks for your list.   I've never heard the Coldplay song. I'll check it out.

Here's a triple:

Beautiful song sung by the legendary Paul Rodgers.

Here's a double .

Good one, Jetson.  Love  TJ & the Shondells.   That one just got edged out on my list  by a couple of my "blue " songs.  Great song, though.

How the hell did I forget that one?   Great tune.  Definitely would top my "black" list.

It was a blue letter she wrote to me
It's silver words she told
Wanna be on the road to paradise
I want a lover who don't get old

Do I read a message in your eyes
You want a love to stay another night
Baby, when your day goes down
I won't be waitin' around for you ...
