(1) Syracuse vs. (2) Ohio State (Elite 8) 3/24
#31
I believe there was a complaint about Matta's X's and O's coming out of timeout earlier in this chat..
#32
Thomas had a basket in his cradle, I swear. He wants to record points when he wakes up in the morning.
#33
: Silly, silly, silly.
#34
That's two on Sullinger. Thad does not think it should be on Sully
#35
So much contact throughout the game, and that??? and I like Syracuse...
#36
Early foul trouble for Sully. Huge
#37
Really hope the zebras don't get in the way of what could be a gem of a game here.
#38
Oh wait he just missed the hoop. probably not even a foul
#39
Lets just call everything a foul and call it a day. -refs
#40
SU needs to attack the basket with Sully out
#41
Oh .. hope this tournament has reminded us of the important of free throws
#42
Sullinger's not a shot blocker, Defensive rebounding man-beast.
#43
now thats some good passing
#44
So far OSU has had no problems with Syracuse's 2-3 zone..
#45
That's two for Christmas. Time for Baye Keita
#46
Great passing, great finish
#47
Craft fouled by Christmas. Massive pun potential.
#48
Well O-rebounds are much more likely with Sullinger out and people flashing to the basket
#49
Three stitches for Smith over right eye
#50
Syracuse band pandering to the Boston natives in attendance (all six of them) playing Sweet Caroline
#51
Sully should not come back in this half unless OSU gets in trouble.
#52
no need to risk more Sully fouls if Buckeyes can keep it close. But there's a lot of time left.
#53
wow that defense
#54
Full court press? Matta should go with his two PG set with Craft and Scott. Scott can't shoot, but he has decent handles.
#55
I think the only way Matta brings back Sullinger in the first half is if Syracuse starts to build a lead.
#56
Count the number of times Ohio State has a defensive possession where they: 1) don't foul, 2) force a miss, and 3) get the rebound. Offense can get along with Craft, Thomas, Buford.
#57
Ravenel is a good replacement for Lauderdale.
#58
Offensive rebounding for the Buckeyes is making up for the missed shots. Cuse missing Melo in that area.
#59
Buckeyes just giving up the lane off the dribble way too easily.
#60
Wow. Horrible D on that possession.
