Lawrence County
#1
Lawrence defeated Estill and Morgan with a high powered offense and unbelievable defense. They completely dominated both games putting up over 50 points and only allowing Morgan to score when the subs were in on a very good pass play by the Cougars. They venture into Pike County next week for the start of the season in the Pikeville Bowl. Hats off to Coach Woods for teaching TEAM play which results in TEAM accolades. If more coaches would subscribe to this philosophy the world of team sports, especially youth sports, would be much better off. Thank you Coach for a very refreshing day.
