Coach Oliver Retires
#1
Announcement from Belfry Middle School Athletics Department

After seven years as head coach, three KYMSFA State Championship wins, five trips to the state semi-finals, and an overall record of 82-20, Coach Danny Oliver recently announced that he is stepping away from his coaching position at Belfry Middle School.  While Coach Oliver will remain on the coaching staff at BMS, his focus now will be spending time in the stands, supporting his daughter Daegan, during her upcoming basketball season.
Throughout his twenty year coaching career, Coach Oliver proved to be a winner both on and off the field.  His leadership skills and knowledge of the game were evidenced in three state championship titles for Belfry Middle School.  He also made a positive impact on countless young men in our area through his coaching, mentoring, and instilling a love of the game in their lives.

The administration and staff at BMS would like to thank Coach Oliver for the years he dedicated to the game, his staff, and his players.
