GREENVILLE, KY - Five different players scored touchdowns as Graves County recorded its first victory of the season Friday night, 56-21 over district foe Muhlenberg County.
Zach Katzman finished with 101 yards rushing on 13 carries and three touchdowns for the Eagles. Zach Crawford rushed for 128 yards and one TD. He also scored on a 31-yard touchdown pass from Larry Brown.
Brown was 13-16 passing for 146 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He scored on a 21-yard run early in the fourth quarter.
Cole Routen caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Brown early in the second quarter. Blade Gray scored the Eaglesâ final touchdown from six yards out.
Graves (1-1, 1-0) scored the gameâs first 27 points then watched Muhlenberg (0-3, 0-2) answer with the next 14 points. The Eagles led 35-14 at halftime. The Mustangs cut the lead to 14 points early in the third quarter but the Eagles scored the gameâs final 21 points.
