For the 2nd time in 4 days Lexington Catholic was stopped or had to cancell their middle school football game due to the extreme heat our area has been subject to. The game with Woodford Co. was cancelled on tuesday and today the 8th grade team was stopped after a quick TD pass in the 1st quarter by Lex Cath to take a 7-0 lead over Covington Catholic. After letting Covington Catholic play a series of downs and with the Knights just giving up 1 first down the ref called the game due to heat.

When will it end?

The MSAC conference in Hardin County has not been able to start our season yet, becasue of the heat index. We will see what happens Tuesday.
