Needing a win to keep its post-season hopes alive, the UK baseball team suffered a horrific 20-0 loss Friday night at Georgia.
The Cats' elimination from Southeastern Conference Tournament contention was made official later Friday night when LSU beat Mississippi State.
UK was battling for the eighth and final spot in the tournament.
UK fell behind 7-0 in the first three innings, then the bullpen imploded, giving up 10 runs in the final two innings. UK also made four errors.
