A UK fan rebuttal to the UL poem....
Twas the end of the Dream Game and all thru the Ville
not a Cardinal was stirring not even T Will
They were just beaten by the lowly Big Blue
a Wildcat performance that was long overdue
Now it's the Cardinals,that shake in their beds
while visions on Joe's monster jam dance in their heads
Sayin "Padgett's a turd,this team is for crap
we were blitzed by the Wildcats, I need a long nap
Now Lachlan and Meiners have no choice to shut up
Their buddy Pitino,just got crushed down in Rupp
Card fans have now been silenced, their not talkin trash
they've thrown in the towel, it's Ricky they bash
That early season schedule,full of cupcakes
they just werent prepared for a game with these stakes
What was Rick thinking,never leaving the Hall
with a little competition how the mighty will fall
They had no inside game, and their jumpers were rusty
yet who else is in their sights, the Big East and the Huskies
Not Richmond, nor Akron, nor Chicago State
could prepare these birds for this December fate
Now Crawford, Now Rondo, Now Bradley and WOOOOO
On Perry, On Thomas, On Sparks GO BIG BLUE
All over the court Rondo is driving
The 'Ville's pressure D went into hiding
Now as Taquan lines up another late three
Yet another brick, how can that be
Soon back to the Ville the Cards they will swoop
with Rick's pitiful schedule, and his gay Armani suit
Yet soon in a twinkling, they hear from the Rupp
the sound of that THUNDERING JOE CRAWFORD DUNK
Now shakin their heads with no hope for a win
yet another turnover by Mr.Jenkins
The Cats,well they scored from inside and out
and now Card fans everywhere have started to pout
They thought they were a lock for a blowout this year
now all thru the holidays they will cry in their beer
The fans called the talk shows all thru the week
and a twenty point win is what they would seek
Now with this loss they are sick to their belly
Cause the Cards are as soft as a bowlful of jelly
Now what about these Cats, and this huge win
especially with big Randolph back on 1-10
The future looks bright for another long run
but what for the Cards, Is their season done?
So as the Big Blue celebrates yet once more
and the great Eruption Zone continues to roar
