Wasn't much of a game especially considering the fact that Wayne Chism had 30 points and madde it look easy!
Just wondering, what are your thoughts on this game theVILLE? Since you were the one that started the prediction thread and had SC winning with Downey getting 37 points.
WELL downey is human you know he has to have a bad game sometimes...He still had 26 points...when he has an off game SC doesnt stand a chance
As anyone can see, USC is completely a one man team. Even when he has a 26 point game, the team can suffer a huge loss. These kind of fluke losses will happen year after year, and South Carolina is an example of a team having a particular night to just play inspired basketball.

But, the thing is....he didn't have an off game he scored 26 points and he only averages 23 per game?!

In conference play he averages like 31???He was 5 away from his avg...And he shot the ball worse than he normally does!
He didnt really shot the ball well against UK. It was a perfect storm for the gamecocks.

USC is not very good away from their homecourt. But they are even better than the TOP team in the nation when they play at home!

Downey avg 22 shots a game...he didnt shoot that many against tn..but on SC teams this season he has to shoot that many for them to have a chance against a HS team...I agree SC is not good as a team but when downey plays good they have a chance...the proved that against uk

Agreed at home they are very good, on the road downey has to put up 35 or more for them to have a chance

He probably would...id like to see him against the cards press...He probably would dribble tight through it...But UL almost beat UK at RUPP...if you think im ashamed of UK beating UL im not..especiall by 8 or 9 on th road adn there having a bad year...not ashamed a bit..im actually proud of them
