oh, well they got no where close to where they usually score at.. I think that was the best game NC ST has play all year.. But thats what you get in the ACC lol

In all fairness this isn't your typical ACC though. The top end of the league is substantially down compared to year's past. I think there is alot more parity throughout the league this year, but NC State will never be confused for a Top 15 team and a National contender this year.

I agree that the ACC is not the "Super" conference of years past, but I don't think there is a "Super" conference this year. This is going to be an odd year where a lot of teams get beat throughout the year. I truly beleive we will only have a few teams this season wind up with 3 or fewer losses on their schedule.

A team like NC State very easily could find themselves in the top 15 this year, due to the turnover that I expect in the top 25 this year. A 13-6 team with a win over Duke very easily could see them in the top 25 this week.

It's going to be an odd year. I don't know if college Basketball as a whole is down, of i the conferences are becoming more balanced with the standard torch-bearers not as deep with talent as in years past.

I look at the conferences and am just not enamored. The Pac 10 just looks atrocious. The SEC has UK and then we really don't know about UT, but it's doubtful that they continue on a roll. ACC is either balanced, or bad. I don't know that the Big 10 teams at the top are good, or just haven't played a competitive schedule. Big 12 may be the only conference that has their top teams stay at the top throug-out the year. And finally, the BEAST, which has been the dominate conference over the past few years still has the teams that will continue to creep up in the rankings, but they are not the same conference from the past two years as graduation and early departures has brought the level of players down a notch.

I think the top 25 is a merry-go-round from 5 down this year.

Just depends on what they do on Sat againts Clemson. with a W, they might just drop down to 10. and just depends how the top 10 does before Monday

Well if West Virginia can beat Ohio State, I can see Duke dropping as low as #12.

imo, I think that is where they belong, 10-12. This years Duke team just isnt the same like previous years
