Pike Central (orange) is going small
Pike Central (blue) is large or super large im not sure right at the moment.
When did pcc get 2 teams? How many girls does both teams have?

What's going on with prestonsburg?

Well one of my really good friends helps them sometime with there routine,
and from my understanding they split up football cause they had like 32 football cheerleaders and the 12 on the orange squad competing small has all standing tucks.

Then the rest of the 30 after the 12 was taken out for orange plus some others from lower grades(6th 7th 8th) cheer and compete on the blue squad.

pike centrals orange has 12 girls
and the blue has somewhere in the 20's

But this is the first time in a while that they have had 2 squads.

& as far as Pburg. Idk why they havent decided yet

From what I hear there both looking great!

I was under the impression that Johnson Central hadn't declared yet..I heard that they were going large or possibly super large.
from what i know,
pburg is either going traditional or medium.
johnson central is going large.
sheldon clark is going traditional.
lawerence county is going traditional.
pvill is going traditional also.

this is just from what i heard, so,
dont take my word for it.

if that is true thats alot of teams doing traditional.
Does anyone know anything about 14th region?
Wow, I can't wait to see what happens. There's alot of traditional!
Lawerence is not competing

belfry and johnson central is large..

im coming in all the way from Greenup I can not wait to watch!

goodluck to all teams!
Do you all know any other teams that will be competing this year at KAPOS,
that is suprising about lawrence co. not competing, I wonder why they have decided not to go this year?
how is sheldon clark?
whats pikeville maroon and white going?!?

Going up against GC and Dunbar in large might not be a wise choice.
Looks like traditional is crowded. Hows 14th region?
I dont think shelby valley is competing.
hornetfan13 Wrote:whats pikeville maroon and white going?!?

One is Super large and the other is small traditional

I think JC will do just fine.

You honestly think they can compete against GC and Dunbar? You must not have ever seen elite cheerleading squads.

Yes I have matter fact I have a cousin that cheers for greenup
but just because JC is going against them dont mean they will not do good.

You can compete against anyone. You may not win but you can give it your best and thats all that should matter
Why don't jc go super large? They have enough girls and then they won't be competing against belfry, pikeville or if they do win they won't be against dunbar.
You really can't be competitive in super large unless you have at least 24 girls. Johnson Central only has 21. Also Pikeville has a squad in Super Large and they will have 6 or 7 stunt groups. You can't compete with that with only 21. So you are better off setting one person out and doing large.
I saw alot of talent out there last year. Hopefully the teams will be as creative as last year.
This is the list I have heard, dont hold me to it but,

Traditional- Pikeville, sheldon clark, ??
small- Pike central orange
med-????
large- Johnson Central, Belfry, Pike central Blue
Super large- Pikeville
CoED- ????
Is there any squads I have failed to mention?
I had also heard that P-Burg had not decided between small, medium and traditional. Anything on Magoffin Co. and lawrence Co., I have always enjoyed watching them.

Pike central Blue is Super Large.
Medium is Magoffin
and Lawrence is not competing this year.
I am really surprised more schools don't participate. There are so many schools in the 15th region that don't compete. It would be nice to see more teams at the competition. It looks like the real show down is going to be in the large category, both Belfry and Johnson Central usually have good squads.
I heard that Lisa Wheeler had so many girls that she was doing both medium and super at Pikeville.
