Brice Laughlin, a 3* 6'3 261 DL from SC switched his commitment from Maryland to UK officially. Laughlin committed to Maryland in May after his recruitment started heating up heavily, he is a very impressive DL.
The Cats also added 4* CB Anterio Sloan from Arkansas who chose UK over Nebraska, Miss State, Texas A&M. They also picked up 3* CB Dale Trimble from Alabama who chose UK over Tennessee, Clemson, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State.
The good news may not be over as UK also hosted 4* RB Rajaan Bennett (UL, Vandy, Wisconsin, Minnesota) from Metro Atlanta who listed UK as his favorite heading into the weekend, Florida 3* ATH Joseph Byrd (Arkansas, UCONN, Indiana, Iowa State, UL, Minnesota, Purdue), and 3* Vandy commit ATH Jerrell Priester from SC (Duke and Notre Dame).
It wouldn't surprise me to see UK land Bennett and Byrd as well.
I'm not sure of his ranking but, UK may also be getting another commitment from Alcoa High School in Alcoa, Tennessee! Jaron Toney a RB from Alcoa may be considering the Wildcats since TE and fellow teammate Tyler Robinson has already committed. Toney, 5'9'' 175lb, was just named the Tennessee Gatorade and ESPN Rise Magazine state player of the year. For his senior season he rushed for 2346yds and a State Record 50 TDs in 15 games! He also scored all three of the TDs in Alcoa's 6th State Championship win in a row, which they won 21-0 over Milan High School, out of Milan TN, who was undefeated coming into the Championship game!
Kentucky is putting together another pretty good recruiting class. Hopefully this class has a Randall Cobb or Derrick Locke in it.

this class is shaping up very nicely...Alcoa alone has become a Pipeline for us if you will...Next year im not kidding will bring bigger and better things for the University of Kentucky

Raymond Sanders and Ryan Smith both are kids who may very easily fit that role. Sanders was super impressive this year against superior competition. He was the vocal leader of his team and on national TV against Mack Brown, a UF committ at RB, Sanders stole the spotlight. He is undersized, but the kid can run, catch, return... he may be the next Locke.
Smith may win the Alabama Mr. Football. He plays QB, he runs the ball, he catches the ball, and he a terrific safety. He has started and led his team to 3 consecutive 3A State Finals.

Absolutely! Jaron is an excellent athelete and student. He would make a great addition to UK football. Hope UK gets an athletic offer on the table for him soon; (I believe he already has an academic offer).
