Final.
I just had an accident in my bed.
This is almost as good as when the Steelers lose.
For tonight, one night only, I love me some Badgers...
i was glad to see Puke get beat
Love to see those Blue Devils go down...don't even care who it is that beats em. Wisconsin played one heck of a game!
Just goes to show that Basketball in November/December, Anything can happen!
Anytime Duke gets beat it makes me happy!! Good job Wisconsin!:Thumbs:
duke would had won if they could had made some 3 pt shots wisconsin was draining behind the 3 pt line all night
HAHA Great post

Oh yeah, we would of won if we scored more points than you! We would of won but we just didnt make our shots.

Still loving the fact that the Dukies lost.
^ yep that was the only reason i was watching it. but you gotta take you're hats off the way both teams played. duke was hitting big shots at the end just the badgers got every rebound, loose ball and everything in between. they acted as if they wanted it a lil bit more
Way to get it Duke, Way to get it.
that was hilarious you know DUKE is really not that good

yea, and we'll see how good Kentucky is, once they start playing teams that people has herd of
Duke will be good, but any objective fan can see they seriously lack any consistent inside presence. They have for a few years now. The young brothers inside will help them, but it will take time for them to develop. Singler, Smith, and Scheyer will carry the Devils. The Dawkins kid can shoot. Until Duke gets some inside people, they will be an average team. They will make the tourney, but a Sweet 16 is about the limit. I mean their talent is good, but it pales in comparison to what they used to have. I would take the inconsistent, but talented, UK anyday. When their turnovers decrease and they become a little more cohesive, you had better watch out for the real BIG BLUE.
Now, if UNC can take care of business against UK, WVU will move up to 5. Unless they feel Puke got jobbed and then will keep them where they are.

Ah, I see the DookieV's are still fuming from that buttkicking Huggy laid on them in the Big Dance two years ago. :flame:
I lived in Wv the last 3 years, i dont remember seeing one WVU basketball fan the entire time. I wasnt even sure you all considered it sport.
I did see the HUGE white boy about 3 years ago daily in the casino, (cant remember his name though) He had to be at least 6'10.
I loved seeing the Big Ten team take this one.
It was aggravating me so i looked him up. Jamie Smalligan, trust me he was no SMALLigan standing 7 foot even. Apparently he transferred to Butler?

Actually duke shot better from behind the line at 43% AND wisconsin shot 40%..Duke shot the ball at a higher percentage than wisconsin in FG, FT, 3pt,everything...IT was turnovers my friend that hurt the devils, 12 to 5 turnovers..not as many as some teams, but Wisconsin played a great game..Duke actually shot above average from 3 poing line..Avg .41% and shot 43%.. not alot better there..TO's is what hurt them..

That was two years ago, could care less now but back then I did. so tell me... what has WVU accomplished in basketball since they have been a school......

2008-2009 - Lost to Dayton in first round of NCAA
2007-2008 - Beat Duke in 2nd Round, lost to Xavier in Sweet Sixteen
2006-2007 - Beat Clemson in NIT Championship
2005-2006 - Lost to Texas in Sweet Sixteen
2004-2005 - Lost to Louisville in Elite Eight
2003-2004 - Lost in 3rd Round of NIT

Prior to Beilein's hiring, Catlett had mixed success. His 97 team beat Cincy to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. That was our highest Big Dance Finish since 59 when we lost to Cal in the Title Game. In the 60's we had some success until Bucky Waters jumped ship and went to DookieV. Now we have Huggy adding to the house to which Beilein laid the foundation. Somewhere in the Great Beyond, Skip Prosser is still shaking his head after his Wake team was wacked in double overtime by Mike Gansey, Kevin Pitsnogle, Patty Beilein, JD Collins, and Joe Herber.

Smalligan transfered FROM Butler to WVU in 2005. He played in both 06 and on the 07 NIT Title team. We called him BALDigan.
He was a bad poker player! haha
WTG Badgers!!
