Who impressed and who didn't last night?
John Wall showed last night why he is the best High School player in America once again. He scored at will and showcased that he can dish that ball better than anyone in the 2009 class.

DeMarcus Cousins displayed his coveted, inside/outside abilities that no other big man has in the 2009 class. Cousins also showed that he can handle the ball like a guard. He will bring instant production to UK next season.

Xavier Henry showed his great shooting and sweet touch. I think he is the better shooter in the class.

These were the three who impressed me the most.

Wall struggled during the first half. He had a nice second half but the two most impressive players last night were cousins and favors.

I did like Favors as well. I forgot to mention him. I think he may be the most NBA ready behind John Wall.

Yea Wall has the most talent he could be a top 5 pic in the draft this year.
I was impressed by Marcus Jordan, I figured the only reason he was in the game was because of his dad, but the kid showed that he can play.

Genes from daddy had to go somewhere, they don't just fade away.
i actually thought bradley played better than wall last night but wall was more aggressive. i wished orton showed a little more but he has been out most of the year so i didn't expect much. one thing i notice above all that when cousins got tired he didn't even attempt to run back down the court sometimes.
Wall really impressed me. He can turn on the speed and blow by everyone.
I was very pleased with alot of the players in this game. Of course Wall did what he does.... Henry and Cousins got theres.. I was very disappointed in Plumee that is going to Duke.. By what I saw in this game, he was terrible.
All the UK commits/recruits did well.

-Cousins had a really good game, but he was probably the laziest player on the floor.
-Orton did well, but seen limited minutes and didn't get a chance to shoot the ball.
-Henry did well, but it seemed like he didn't get that much of a chance to showcase his ability, but did have some nice plays.
-Wall was quite in the 1st half, but exploded during the latter part of the 2nd half.

Kentucky was talked about the entire game by ESPN's Jimmy Dykes, and I loved every moment of it.
I was most impressed with Favors...

yeah he played bad but i've seen him play before and he does have what it takes. he isn't going to a big impact next year IMO.

Siva should have been in this game.. He is as good as anyone I saw in this game!! Confusedhh:

Well apparently he wasn't good enough to be in it or he would of been. There was 18 of the top 22 nationally ranked players in this game. I think siva is ranked 39th by the recruiting experts and Im pretty sure they know what there talking about. Hes like the number 8 pg nationally and they were only aloud 4 pgs in that game so he just wasn't good enough.Confusedhh:

At least we have a top 50 pg coming in!!! :moon:

Dude both the pgs were going after which we almost 100 percent get one of them are ranked higher then the one you have coming in. Wall is #1 overall and bledsoe is #23 I think and there both 5* by rivals. You need to follow recruiting alittle more. Our class is already ranked #5 by rivals and we could easily move up to #1.
siva is easily good enough to be in this game. but you're only allowed two all star games. thats why orton wasn't in the mcdonalds AA game. i dont care if i do bleed blue i know as a basketball fan that siva is beast and will be hard to handle by anyone!

I wouldn't be so quick to crown us the winner of the John Wall sweepstakes and IMO we dont have much of a chance with Bledsoe. Bledsoe is feeling scorned by Kentucky for being our second choice behind John Wall (but u cant blame calipari for that)

 You dont have to be an expert to see that this kid has potential to be something special at Louisville, he is definitely one of the best PG's in this class.

ESPN has Siva ranked #5 PG and and like #24 on ESPNU top 100, Bledsoe is ranked #12 PG and not in the ESPNU top 100.:dontthink

 i really care to much about people that dont like players cause of their school instead of their skill and this dude has it. i know you watched the mcdonalds AA game and the other guy didn't.

So your saying siva picke the derby classic over the jordan game lol get over the fact he wasn't invited.

Siva is good but to say hes going to come in next year and do great is dumb and hes 35+ on espn and blesoe is ranked top 25 on rivals ahead of siva.

Its an all star game nothing like actual games. NO ONE plays defense in those games and any1 can look good when theres no D but anyway I know he will be good eventually but hes not going to come in next year and dominate like alot of you think hes going to.
TheONLY1 Wrote:So your saying siva picke the derby classic over the jordan game lol get over the fact he wasn't invited.
:HitWall: I'm a UK fan i dont really care if he got invited or not. he's better than marcus jordan and durand scott. just as good as abdul gaddy and kenny boynton from what i've seen from both. just my thoughts:Thumbs:

Here is the complete ESPN Top 100 List and here is the link http://insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruitin...2fespnu100. As you can see Peyton Siva is #25 on this list, Eric Bledsoe, well he isnt even on the list. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor and actually take the two minutes to research something before you comment on it.
