Kentucky Christian University men's and women's basketball teams both won their NCCAA Division II Mid-East Region Tournaments on their home court in Grayson. The women defeated Cincinnati Christian University 70 to 39. The men beat Ohio Christian University 79 to 64.
It was the 25th consecutive regional championship for the Lady Knights. Both teams move on to the national tournament, with the women's tournament played in Grayson, KY and the men's tournament in Springfield, Missouri. The KCU women are the defending national champions, and are ranked #1 in the nation.
