PRESS RELEASE

Zack Moore has been named the new head football coach at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. Moore has served on the KCU Football Staff since the Fall of 2006. This past season, he was the team’s Defensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. Moore played linebacker at Morehead State from 1996-1998. He then spent 8 years on the MSU staff before coming to KCU.

“We feel extremely fortunate to have Zack Moore running our football program,” commented KCU Athletic Director Rick Cooper. “To have someone of his caliber already on staff here at KCU made his promotion an easy decision. I appreciate his passion to win, his commitment to doing things the right way, and his willingness to invest in our guys both on and off the field.”

Moore and his wife Kelley reside in Grayson. They have 3 children: MacKenzie (6), Maci (4), and Madelyn (1).

Moore replaces Dane Damron, KCU’s first head football coach. Damron accepted a position on the Eastern Kentucky Football Staff in late December.
Good luck to the new coach and do not forget to hit Ohio hard.
Good luck Coach Moore
