UK QB Commit Morgan Newton, from carmel, IN has been named to te Parade All-American team.

Only 58 players make this team, Newton is the First Cat committ to make this team since Dennis Johnson and Tim Couch. He finished his Senior season with over 3700 total yards and 48 TD's (1,664 rushing, 26 TD : 1,938 passing, 22 TD, 7 INT). He led his team the Indiana 5A Championship as a Junior and to a State Runner-Up his Senior seson.

That's an awesome accomplishment!

I can see some really great things coming out of Newton @ UK.

I'm excited to have him playing for us next season!

I watched this kid play on ESPN in a game this year and he is the real deal. His team was down 21 in the 2nd half and he led them back and they won on a game winning drive. He was amazing, so I'm really looking forward to seeing him play at UK.
