There is an article about Landon Slone on the front page of the Catspause message board titled, "Biggest Spark". Very good publicity for Landon's hard work, toughness, and attitude.

It is in my opinion strange this thread did not get more response

than it did for a local EK basketball player in his effort to play well for UK and for

Eastern Kentucky player reputations.

One thing that somepeople don' understand about SEC basketball is:
Coaches use a basic psychology in creating competition among their players. They do this to get certain players sparked up and this causes them to reach down deeper insure andvwork much harder especially when they think they are being challenged by another player on their team. It is not unusual for a ciachbto take the actions of one player especially if that player shows some amount if improvement then the coach can say well so and so has really perfomed well in practice so we are going to give him more playingbtime.
Landon could have been used to put pressure on other players to make them reach inside and play harder and more aggressive!
