The Courier-Journal has reported that Lou. Central DT Mister Cobble has given a verbal to UK.
Cobble was being courted by some big name schools like USC, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Auburn. He is 6'0 270.
Cobble was the best defensive player I saw play in the entire state last season.
Central also has two other major D-1 targets returning on defense, and rumor is that one of them will be following Cobble and committing to UK soon as well. He is 6'3 210 LB Ridge Wilson. Wilson is a 3 Star Prospect and has received interest already from such schools as Auburn, Arkansas, Alabama, Indiana, Oklahoma, Purdue, and Tennessee, as well as Uk and UL.
6'5 235 Junior MLB Prospect Tim Patterson also returns, he is already being heavily looked at by UK and UL and projections are that he may end up ebing the most sought after player in KY next season.
