LEXINGTON, Ky. â Galloway, 6-6 and a native of Sacramento, Calif., spent his sophomore season at College of Southern Idaho where he ranked fourth in the nation in assists (8.6) and averaged 8.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in helping lead the Golden Eagles to a 30-2 record.
Galloway attended Southern Cal out of high school, where he played in 13 games in 2007, averaging 2.0 rebounds, 2.8 points and 2.0 assists per game for the Trojans. He shot 52 percent from the field.

He's probably not as confident as he needs to be, but that is one of the things he will continue to work on before he gets here. I think he will be a major addition to our team."
A four-year letterman at Sacramento High School, Galloway led his team to a league championship every year as well as to the state playoffs. As a junior and senior, Kevin earned Sacramento Bee Player of the Year honors, while averaging 17.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game as a senior and led Sacramento High to a 29-6 record and a No. 17 ranking in the state of California. He was rated the 88th best prospect in the 2006 recruiting class by Scout.com. As a junior, he averaged 11.9 points and his 10.7 assists a game was tops in the state.
The National Letter of Intent signing period runs through May 21.
