ESPN college basketball analyst **** Vitale underwent surgery Tuesday to treat ulcers on his left vocal cord and is expected to be off the airwaves until at least February.

I may not like him but i hope he has a good recovery

Wanting to be a sports broadcaster and Vitale is one of my favorites, I hate to see him sidelined but it is for the betterment of his health. Wish him a full recovery and can't wait to see you back calling games!
