Madison Southern will travel to Rockcastle 8/12 for a scrimmage

Who you got?

Glad to see these two school going against each other again. With new administration at both schools maybe this rivalry can get a real game on the schedule next season. Be interesting to see how rocks line can develop and how the young playmakers can adjust to varsity speed. There is potential there. Don't know a whole alot about southern this year.

Rivalry..... I like it... I will take the Rock in this one.

Have to think rock will dominate in the trenches! their almost as physical as north and north had their way with mad south last week. Looking for rock to turn it around over there.

MS line of scrimmage was a huge factor in the outcome of this scrimmage. First half was even battle however the second half MS has good size and strength in the trenches that wore down Rock. Rock plays both ways majority of the team. MS overall team certainly looks very good for scrimmage standards. Rock done a lot of good things and as scrimmages go a lot to work on.

Southern really strong upfront and had several out in scrimmage last week versus NL…Southern will be an average team with a super tough schedule. Rock showed a lot more toughness than the last 2 years, and my bet is that they’ll be solid by season end and future looks bright! Good luck to both teams on the season. Pig headed administrators from BOTH schools ended a game that should be played every year. New administrators didn’t really want this game but alumni from BOTH schools are the ones that brought it back…there has been bad blood on both sides but kids from both schools grow up together and it’s like 2 brothers in a fist fight…hurt feelings but they get over it…
