How long are Democrats going to stand by and watch Joe Biden and his administration destroy their party? How much are those of you who voted for this idiot willing to pay for your mistake - because you are paying dearly, whether you realize it or acknowledge your lapse in judgment or not. Don't worry, you have VP Kamala Harris and her 28 percent job approval rate ready to set things right. (I should have used the plural form of mistake - one for Joe and one for Kamala.)

At the rate that the rate of inflation is increasing, it will be in Jimmy Carter territory before the 2022 elections.

Quote:U.S. consumer prices jump 6.2% in October, the biggest inflation surge in more than 30 years

Inflation across a broad swath of products that consumers buy every day was even worse than expected in October, hitting its highest point in more than 30 years, the Labor Department reported Wednesday.

The consumer price index, which is a basket of products ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents, rose 6.2% from a year ago. That compared to the 5.9% Dow Jones estimate.

On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.9% against the 0.6% estimate.

Stripping out volatile food and energy prices, so-called core CPI was up 0.6% against the estimate of 0.4%. Annual core inflation ran at a 6.2% pace, compared to the 4% expectation and the highest since November 1990.

Fuel oil prices soared 12.3% for the month, part of a 59.1% increase over the past year. Energy prices overall rose 4.8% in October and are up 30% for the 12-month period.

Used vehicle prices again were a big contributor, rising 2.5% on the month and 26.4% for the year. New vehicle prices were up 1.4% and 9.8% respectively.

Food prices also showed a sizeable bounce, up 0.9% and 5.4% respectively. Within the food category, meat, poultry, fish and eggs collectively rose 1.7% for the month and 11.9% year over year.

The price increases meant that workers fell further behind.

In a separate report, the Labor Department said real wages after inflation fell 0.5% from September to October, the product of a 0.4% increase in average hourly earnings that was more than offset by the CPI surge.

I would guess around 38 months, maybe more if Trump wins the GOP nomination.

Do you really think that Democrats will allow Biden to end dozens of political careers in 2020 without tossing him under the bus? Are you young enough to remember how unpopular Jimmy Carter was the last time that the inflation rate reached double digits?
On deck for Democrats, Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, shown here attempting to speak with a French accent while meeting with a group of scientists in Paris. Or maybe, she is impersonating somebody impersonating the Tatoo character from the old Fantasy Island TV series. Instead of saying, "De plane! De plane!" She says, "The plan! The plan!" with malformed air quotes. It is cringe worthy either way.

Peter Nicholas wrote in The Atlantic in August, that racism and sexism could be to blame for Harris’s low numbers. FiveThirtyEight has written how women politicians, and especially women of color like Harris, are often held to a different standard than men. And as Nicholas noted in his article, Harris has a high unfavorability margin among men .

Big Grin Kamala Harris's unpopularity cannot possibly be related to her incompetence and far left-wing policy positions. Blame the audience for not understanding her true worth!  Big Grin Big Grin

The unpopularity of anti-American, far left-wing policies have absolutely nothing to do with racism and/or sexism. Obviously, racism and sexism have nothing to do with white male, Joe Biden's plummeting popularity. Why would a politician who embraces more radical policies than Biden not be less popular than he is?

I realize that your intent in posting the nonsense above was to imply that Trump supporters are racists and sexists, and therefore are the cause of Harris's low job approval ratings, but you missed your target by a country mile. You forget that Kamala Harris was extremely unpopular among Democrat primary voters and was among the first to exit the crowded field of Democrat candidates in 2020.
Madame Vice-President was not my first choice as second in charge but there is no doubt that her color and gender make her an instant dislike for a substantial segment of the voting populace. Peter Nicholas is certainly right about that.

Liberals do seem to pay more attention to race and gender than Republicans do. They often see racism and sexism where it does not exist.
Quote:Virginia Lt Gov-Elect Winsome Sears slams Jemele Hill after sports writer blames 'white supremacy' for her win

Winsome, a Marine Corps veteran, came to the United States from Jamaica as a child

Winsome Sears, Virginia’s newly elected lieutenant governor and the first black female to win statewide election in the commonwealth, trolled sports commentator Jemele Hill on Twitter after the former ESPN host accused her of being a White supremacist.

"It’s not the messaging, folks," Hill tweeted in response to a resounding Republican victory in Virginia on Tuesday that elected Republican Glenn Youngkin as governor and Sears as Lt. Governor. "This country simply loves white supremacy."

"We beg to differ," A team account for Sears posted in response along with a photo of Sears holding an AR-15 rifle.

Who could possibly say that this country does not love its white supremacy? It does and ALWAYS has. All the way back to F. Scott Key and the Philandering Fathers and to the present with D J Trump and his cult.

If Harris has suffered from racism and sexism, she suffered them at the hands of Democrats. Democrats gave her an early heave-ho from the presidential race. Your implication that she was the victim of racism and sexism from Trump supporters holds no water and your constant bashing of white Trump supporters is very telling about your own views on race.
I hope Biden and Harris start to argue and some tension between each other starts happening so we can really shake things up. They don’t stand a chance to win in 2024, bring on DeSantis or Trump Jr!

Lies^^

But at this point it seems obvious to me that you and the extreme left of your favor, can say absolutely anything with equal lack of credibility. Oh, and FWIW Old School Hound; you're white. If things go south for white people as radically as you hope they will, you will be swept off by the very same wave of ignorant bias you wish upon conservatives.
Biden's approval rate now stands below 40 percent. In the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, 18 percent strongly approve of the job that Biden is doing and 49 percent strongly disapprove. At the same point in his presidency, Trump's approval rating was 7 points higher than Biden's approval rating and the gap has been growing.
Thank you Biden and Harris for being gifts that keep on giving!!! Best thing to happen to Republicans since Jimmy Carter! Huge rout coming in November and the smart rats are already leaving the sinking ship!!!!!!

I like Washington DC Republicans less and less every year but they are by far the lesser of two evils.

Republicans in Washington DC do nothing.
Democrats in DC work 24/7 with help from legacy media to destroy the country.
Really that simple to me.
If I am not mistaken, Joe Biden has set a record low for the Rasmussen Presidential Approval Index rating. Congratulations, Joe. Nobody deserves this honor more than you do. At least President Biden is still (barely) more popular than Vice President Kamala Harris.

Quote:Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, sponsored by Matt Palumbo's The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros, for Tuesday shows that 40% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Fifty-nine (59%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 18% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 50% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -32. (see trends)
The vultures are gathering around Biden. I wonder which Democrat will be the first to officially announce that they are seeking their party's 2024 presidential nomination? My money is on crooked Hillary Clinton. She may gamble that declaring her plans to run will discourage Durham from indicting her.

Quote:Biden says he’s running in 2024, but 2020 Democratic presidential candidates keep coming to NH
Russia has invaded Ukraine. As the people of Ukraine are watching missiles explode and Russian troops heading to Kiev, President Biden has promised more economic sanctions against Russia.

Elections have consequences. This country has put a corrupt, elderly man suffering from dementia and a cast of left wing zealots in control of our government and now this nation is facing the greatest threats to peace in decades. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has put the U.S. in position to beg the Saudis and other countries to increase oil production and our own southern border is wide open to infiltration by our enemies.

Will patriotic Democrats and Republicans finally begin working together and take the actions necessary to stop the erosion of our military readiness and restore our national security? Or will Democrats continue to signal weakness to Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea?
How low can he go?  Big Grin

Thanks for the laughs, Biden voters - but I would rather have a competent administration in office. The world is too dangerous to have imbeciles sitting at the top of our own government.

Quote:Biden's job approval hits new low: poll

President Biden
's approval rating has hit a new low of 38 percent, according to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey released exclusively to The Hill on Friday.

Seventeen percent of registered voters said they "strongly approve" of Biden's job in office while another 21 percent said they "somewhat approve."
Another 39 percent said they "strongly disapproved" of Biden's job, while 16 percent said they "somewhat approved."

The findings come as Biden grapples with the violent Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as record-high inflation stateside. Biden is set to address the nation on Tuesday, delivering his first State of the Union remarks to Congress.

"On the eve of his State of the Union, the president has hit a new low as inflation and economic anxiety hit new highs. The president is now underwater on every top domestic and foreign policy issue," said Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey.

The same poll found that 64 percent of registered voters said Biden is “too lenient” with Russia, while 31 percent said he handles Russia “just right.” Five percent said he’s “too tough.”

The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey of 2,026 registered voters was conducted from Feb. 23-24. It is a collaboration of the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and the Harris Poll.

The survey is an online sample drawn from the Harris Panel and weighted to reflect known demographics. As a representative online sample, it does not report a probability confidence interval.

With all that has gone wrong during this administrations short time in office how does this even become an issue.  Every time your party sh!ts it’s pants instead of taking ownership it’s blamed on white nationalism.  No one dislikes Harris because of her skin color they don’t like her because she’s inept and can’t do her job.  Soon Biden will be a member of a long lost Indian tribe and that’ll be the reason for record inflation, high gas prices, and his absolutely horrible handling of foreign policy.
Joe Biden now has the distinction of being president when the average price of gasoline in the U.S. surpassed its all time high. Not coincidentally, he was Vice President when the previous record was set.

Now, the Biden administration is pleading with Venezuela begin selling us oil and with Saudi Arabia to increase its production again. There are even rumors that we will begin buying Iranian oil after Russia helps us negotiate another fake nuclear deal with the Ayatollah. It is hard to quantify the stupidity of this administration.

The few Democrats who still have a little common sense are finally beginning to acknowledge that Joe Biden is at best a single-term, lame duck president who is not fit to perform the demanding job of U.S. President. Old age has not blessed Joe Biden with wisdom. It is time for his handlers to switch to caretaker mode and help Joe find some really good lawyers to keep him out of the pokey.

Quote:David Axelrod: Biden's age 'major' problem for future political viability

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod raised a "major" red flag regarding President Joe Biden's ambitions to run for reelection in 2024, pointing to the commander in chief's advanced age.

His comments appeared in a New York Times report Saturday that examined "whispers" among Democrats who are increasingly anxious about Biden's leadership ahead of the 2022 midterm elections in which Republicans are widely expected to win back control of at least one chamber of Congress.

Biden, who is 79, is the oldest man ever to be president. In fact, Biden was older when he took the oath of office than was Ronald Reagan, the second-oldest sitting president ever, when he retired at 77. Biden would be 82 for a second inauguration.
“The presidency is a monstrously taxing job, and the stark reality is the president would be closer to 90 than 80 at the end of a second term, and that would be a major issue,” Axelrod said.
