We will finally see if WYMT is correct. I believe they are not. Eagles 42-14.
Johnson Central 48 Letcher County 14
Cougars have a really good team this year and I believe they could win against most teams in the mountains this year with the exception of Johnson Central, Corbin and Pikeville. Those 3 teams are on a different level than the rest. I’m hoping the cougars come out and give JC there best shot but until I see other wise I’m going with Johnson Central In this one but I do think it will be more competitive than last year.

The true seniors of the 2022 class would have started kindergarten in 2010.... so counting the 2010 season.... JC has won their district nine times ('10, '12, '13, '14, '15, '16, '18, '19 & '20).
In the same time frame, JC has only lost district two games total, in twelve seasons, thus far.... both losses were @ Ashland in '11 & '17.
Letcher Central may knock JC off the pedestal, but it won't be this year. JC is motivated!!! With coach Matney passing away & a situation that I referenced in an earlier post..... JC is ready to defend their district dominance.
