Rumors are swirling that Ashland head coach Jason Mays is bolting to Montgomery County.
This might be a mistake but who knows?
Also some talk of area coaches with very good player/sons are going to join him on Mt Sterling.

I heard today they offered his wife a principal job
His wife controls the basketballs in the family. So, who replaces him at Ashland?

Rumor mill churning out some doozies in my corner of the 14th region involving coaches and rosters.
Not privileged to all the information but it seems that there will be changes to come. Just trying to narrow down what exactly is happening.
Jason Mays is the best High School Coach in KY. Any district would be crazy to go all in trying to get him. It will be interesting to see, Ashland is have's in the 16th
GRC is the haves in the 10th it might be a little tougher to turn it around at MC than it was to get it going at Ashland. Just my opinion.
Jason Mays is Staying at Ashland per Zack Klemme's of the daily independents twitter.
Jon Bentley will be the next scapegoat at Montgomery County.
Mays' wife cracked the whip (literally).
Hopefully Bentley plays the right parents' kids.
Is it official Bentley accepted the job? Ive not seen or heard anything.

These people from mt. Sterling start rumors. Mays leaving Ashland a team who made the semi finals of state tournament and has about everybody back next season and will be a favorite to win it all next season
