Spring has sprung and what a way to kick it off with our Battle of the Regions event, it was a huge success. Thanks to all the coaches, players, parents, staff that helped in putting this event together. Special thanks to East and West Jessamine High Schools for hosting us. Can not wait for 2022 Battle of the Regions.

2021 Combine and Skill Camps - July/August/September 2021
We still have some open dates to fill sites for the Combine and Skill Camps this summer. If you are interested in hosting please let us know asap so that we can get the locations locked in.
A new addition to KYMSFA events this year will be Combine and Skill Camps that will take place on selected Sundays in July, August and September of this year. These will be 1 day, non contact camps that players will go through selected combine type events, individual position drills, some group work drills, 7on7 work and more. These combine camps will be open to all middle school football players across the state, no KYMSFA membership required. Our plan is to conduct these combine camps in different parts of the state so everyone can have an opportunity to attend at least one camp in their respective region. WE NEED HOST SITES, to run the camps at so if you are interested let us know. We should have more detailed info on the camps in early spring.

KYMSFA 6th Grade Invitational Post Season Tournament
For the past few years as teams have begun having more 6th grade teams across the state, you have ask for some time of post season tournament for them to play to end your season. KYMSFA has finally formulated the plan to do just that as we will conduct our first 6th Grade Invitational Tournament. This tournament will take place the same time as 7th & 8th grade playoffs with the championships being the same weekend as the rest. We are still finalizing the qualification guidelines for teams to be selected but the process in summary will be teams will submit their information in the early part of the season to be certified to participate by the KYMSFA 6th grade committee. We will post a separate email with all the 6th grade details as we get closer to the summer, and have some type of call or zoom meeting for interested teams.

The traditional Thanksgiving weekend All Star Classic Event will be back for 2021. We are currently taking bids for host sites for the weekend, if interested please contact us.

2021 KYMSFA Membership Dues
2021 brings a change in the structure to KYMSFA Membership. KYMSFA will now offer two membership types for teams to choose from:
Full Membership $300.00 due by August 31st – This includes, Entrance into State Championship Playoffs, Regional Player of the Year & Coach of the Year Awards, All Star Classic, FBU Team Kentucky, Battle of the Regions, Coaches Clinic (one free coach per team), Advisory Committee Seats, 7on7 Cup and any other KYMSFA Events.
Post Season Only Membership $150.00 due by September 30th – This includes ability for players to participate in All Star Classic, FBU Team Kentucky, Battle of the Regions, 7on7 Cup and other post season events. Coaches can still attend Coaches Clinic (no free coach) and other KYMSFA Meetings.
