There are 4 teams IMO that have a shot at the Title.

probabaly could reorganize to this...

1.) Shelby Valley
2.) Pikeville
3.) Floyd Central
4.) Belfry
5.) Johnson Co
6.) Lawrence Co
7.) Martin Co
8.) Paintsville
9.) Jenkins

Johnson Central over Belfry and Floyd Central yesterday and today, both by double digits, avenges the two earlier road regional losses for JC.
1. Pikeville
2. Valley
3. Johnson central
4. Belfry
5. Floyd central
6. Lawrence county
7. Martin County
8. Paintsville
9. Betsy Layne
10. Prestonsburg
JC playing the best basketball right now. I guarantee Pikeville and Shelby Valley don’t want to play them in region tournament
^^^I guarantee you both of those teams would not mind it in the least and both would expect to win.
1. Pikeville
2. Shelby Valley
3. Johnson Central
4. Belfry
5. Lawrence County
6. Floyd Central

Katie Jo Moore put them on her back!!! It was fun to watch
It was. Great comeback

They’re playing good ball but it took everything they had to beat Paintsville. The gap between the “top” ranked teams and others, seem to be getting smaller as we go.
Lawrence County might make some noise in the region but if Cassidy Rowe is healthy I’m taking Shelby Valley.
Give me Floyd Central. IMO they have best player in Region and are playing as good as anyone...
I'll take Pikeville. Led most of the game on Floyd Central's home court but uncharacteristic poor shooting as well as great play of Moore with help from others allowed FC to come back late in the 4th and end up winning. Take away Pikeville 2-18 3-point shooting that night, and for the rest of the year they shot 38.7% from 3 which is better than all girls in 15th as well as Pikeville boys (35.9%) Paintsville boys (33.2) Belfry boys (28.2) Shelby Valley boys (33.8) Pike Central boys (37.0) and Betsy Layne boys (28.4) among others and on par with East Ridge boys (38.7) and Johnson Central boys (38.8).

Having said all that, there are a few teams that could win and it wouldn't be a huge shock. Girls' 15th regional tournament should be at least as fun to watch as the boys' 15th...
Heading into regional tournament-
1. Pikeville (been there done that will help them this week)
2. Shelby Valley (needs a health Rowe to win it)
3. Johnson Central (dangerous team, but played much better at home)
4. Belfry (imroved as season went on)
5. Lawrence County (Feltner is laying claim to best in region)
6. Floyd Central (wheels come off this time of year repeatedly)
7. Paintsville (improving, but not yet there)
8. Pike Central (made region by default basically)

This is pretty spot on to me.
I will say however Lawrence could win the whole thing because Feltner is the best player in the region and it isn’t really that close. The rest of the region will Probably find out this week. Would still consider them an underdog because of the supporting cast and missing second best player in Neal but oh man can Feltner ball.
The wheels came off again for the Lady Jaguars. Sad to see it really. Paintsville with the expected short stay tonight.

Look forward to the JC/SV game tomorrow. Big game for a first round event.
3 peat for the Lady Panthers. Coach Orem building a girls dynasty at Pikeville? Only 1 senior on the team I believe....
Who won the 15th region?
PIKEVILLE LADY PANTHERS
HAD THEM #1 ALL YEAR
1. Pikeville transfers
Valley might have a chance this year but after Rowe graduates, Pikeville takes over the region for a few years.

Been looking for your posts whining about all the Belfry football transfers over the years but I'm coming up empty...
