Fans on other boards really like this guy. His name is Henry "Hank" Thorns, and he's only 5-8.

Analysis: Unfortunately at this time there isn't alot of information on this kid. No scouting reports or videos. However from all accounts he is a extremely quick kid, great on the ball defender, fundamentally sound, and he can shoot the 3. He once had 46pts and 28rbs in one game. For 5'9" that shows you what kind of hustle he has.

I like a small quick guard! I don't think you have to be 6'0-6'5. I player who can push, push push the ball and that is BCG style of play that he likes!

He sounds like a tough kid to be so small and put up numbers such as those.

Looks like Thorns may be ready to commit to Virginia Tech. He is a tough little guard and would be a good addition, but we may not need another guard. Either get a big man to help at the 5, or save it for next year for a dynamic incoming class.
