For immediate release:
Pursuant to the January 27, 2018 Kentucky Middle School Football Association Board of Directors meeting, the Association hereby accepts the retirement notification of Mr. Greg Mitchell, as President of the Association to take place on November 24, 2018.
The Association would like to thank Mr. Mitchell for his dedicated service to the Association as the President, specifically in leading it from its infancy to what it has become today, and how it has provided opportunities for young athletes through the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Association has accepted Mr. Mitchellâs request to remain on the Association Board of Directors as a Director and Legal Counsel.
With this said, the Kentucky Middle School Football Association, as voted on by the Board of directors at its January 27, 2018, hereby enacts on November 24, 2018, the succession plan of officers for the Association as follows:
Promotion of Vice President â Treasurer â State Championship Coordinator Adam Lantman to President â Treasurer â State Championship Coordinator.
Promotion of Director of All-Star Classic Jamie Howell to Vice President â Director of All-Star Classic
Promotion of Director of Team Kentucky Bronson Gowdy to Vice President â Director of Team Kentucky
Secretary William Griffin to remain
Director of 7 on 7 Ray Lockwood to remain
Director of Coaches Clinic Mark Payne to remain
